Everywave is designing a special ultrasound system which can produce high levels of cavitation in fluids, even supercritical fluids, whose purpose is to produce particular chemical reactions and phenomena.
The system is made up of a high-power ultrasonic converter and a special sonotrode with a resonant ring structure for increasing the cavitation effect.
Cavitation of supercritical fluids is an extremely interesting field of study and has possibilities of application which are still widely unknown.
